QPTV Presents Power Women of Queens - Dr. Cheryl Y. James

Today on Power Women of Queens, Luchia meets Dr. Cheryl Y. James, Queens community advocate, mother and a minister. Dr. Cheryl Y. James, President and founder of "Where There's A Need" an organization dedicated to changing what loss of hair means because of illness. She is also The Heart Disease Prevention Program Facilitator for N.Y. Presbyterian Hospital Ronald O' Perelman Heart Institute. She was recently given seven awards for her community service, for over 15 years. Congressional, Public Advocate, State Proclamation, City Councilman Honorable Mention, Borough President & United For Progress Democratic Club Award. She teaches a, Heart Disease Prevention Program within the community. She taught entire ten week programs and also provided one day workshops to churches, senior centers, for Emblem Health, and other organizations.
