Legislative Acts

Our elected officials star in this show, which features their musical, acting, singing, dancing, and comedic talents. They perform parodies of classical movies, well-known TV Series, Broadway shows, and a variety of songs- all of it done with a unique flair of Queens. Starring: Leroy Comrie, Joe Crowley, Elizabeth Crowley, Michael DenDekker, Daniel Dromm, Julissa Ferreras, James Gennaro, Phillip Goldfeder, Melinda Katz, Ron Kim, Karen Koslowitz, Rory Lancman, Helen Marshall, Gregory Meeks, Grace Meng,  Jose  Peralta,  Audrey  Pheffer,  William  Scarborough, Claire Shulman, Aravella Simotas, Toby Stavisky, Eric Ulrich, Peter Vallone, Sr., Jimmy Van Bramer, Nydia Velazquez, Mark Weprin, and Ruben Wills. The show is directed by Kevin Free, a writer/director  and  proud  resident  of  Queens;  and  produced by Jeffrey Rosenstock, of the Kupferberg Center for the Arts. The beneficiaries are Big Buddy and Women & Work.
