Around Queens: Concert in Motion

Musicians from Concerts in Motion will perform for elderly residents of JASA Brookdale Older Adult Center. The residents are mostly confined to their living space, Concerts in Motion brings entertainment to them. Would you like to come film the performance and speak with the senior residents about how much this means to them? Since 2009, we have brought personalized live music and engagement to older adults, veterans, individuals with disabilities, individuals with mental illness, individuals experiencing housing and food insecurity, and hospitalized patients of all ages. We have a diverse community of talented professional and student musicians who travel across the New York area to perform our concerts. While New York City is home to thousands of talented musicians, it’s also home to thousands of isolated people. Founder Jennifer Finn envisioned the bridge between them, and Concerts in Motion was born.
